Woman arrested on drug charges

Thirty-two-year-old Giannina Gabriela Bariani of Pembroke Pines, Florida, was arrested Tuesday after marijuana laced with Fentanyl was found during a traffic stop in Marathon.

Bariani was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped on U.S. 1 at approximately 11:20 p.m. for a taillight violation. 

A strong odor of marijuana was emanating from the vehicle and Bariani claimed ownership of 6.6 grams of marijuana laced with Fentanyl found during a subsequent search.
