Woman arrested for battery  

A 29-year-old Marathon woman was arrested Wednesday for hitting a man with a vase. There were no serious injuries reported.

Della Dylan Draper was charged with aggravated battery.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a Grassy Key residence at approximately 6:15 a.m. regarding a woman, later identified as Draper, who struck a 31-year-old male victim with a glass vase filled with rocks, following a domestic argument. Draper left prior to the Sheriff’s Office arrival.

She was found shortly thereafter in Marathon and taken to jail.
