Staying Informed about Drinking Water

Florida Keys – The importance of high quality drinking water cannot be understated and the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) wants to make sure customers are informed about their water.

The FKAA recently published an important report to keep people informed about their drinking water. The FKAA’s Annual Water Quality Report provides information about where your water comes from, how it is treated and the FKAA’s compliance with regulatory requirements. This report, also referred to as the consumer confidence report, is published each year as mandated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

The FKAA is pleased to announce that your water supply continues to meet or surpass all regulatory standards. Electronic copies of the report can be found here http://www.fkaa.com/CCReport.htm. For paper copies please contact the FKAA customer service staff at 305-296-2454.

While the report provides a tremendous amount of information, the FKAA encourages customers to contact our professional water quality staff anytime they have questions about their drinking water.

For the most up-to-date information, the FKAA recommends customers follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/FKAAwater and Twitter https://twitter.com/FKAAwater and sign up for our Priority Call system https://public.coderedweb.com/cne/en-US/EEBFC2D6F15A?

By signing up for the priority call, customers can be notified directly about important information, such as water outages, specific to their property. The system also allows notification via email and text.

Additionally, to receive all the benefits available to Aqueduct customers be sure to register your account at FKAA.com. Benefits include online account management, expired card notifications and leak alerts.
