Seeking virtual or In-person Public Input
The City of Key West is holding its second Affordable Housing Workshop on Wednesday, April 21st, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at City Hall, 1300 White Street.
Everyone is strongly urged to join in. The focus of the workshop is to refine community goals for the development of the 3.2 acre site in Bahama Village.
The meeting will also be televised and the public can weigh in virtually via Zoom : https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88048408416?pwd=Y0xOY0pwQTdrSDFsSXg4NUlHdWYxZz09
Meeting ID: 880 4840 8416
Passcode: 048186
“We will talk about funding strategies,” says Planning Director Katie Halloran, “and how to prioritize affordable homeownership versus affordable rental. We will also discuss the community’s vision for the site and work to integrate this vision into the city’s forthcoming request for proposals for development partners.”
There will be a panel of experts and plenty of opportunity for questions and answers. There will also be small break out groups to explore detailed suggestions.
