Mayor and Commissioners Welcome New Executive Assistant

The City of Key West is pleased to announce that Monroe Holloway III has joined the City of Key West as Executive Assistant to the Mayor and City Commission.

Holloway is a graduate of the Florida A&M University School of Business and Industry and a 5th generation native of Key West with eight years of experience in entrepreneurship, management and accounting.

As the Executive Assistant to the City Commission, Holloway will be responsible for correspondence and administrative support of the mayor and city commission. His other responsibilities include participating in budget preparation, special event coordination and a range of other support services.

“I have always had a passion for Key West and the Florida Keys,” said Holloway. “I’m excited for this opportunity to support the City of Key West and the beautifully diverse people that make up this community.”
