Key West NOW is holding a V for Victory Virginia election watch party
The Key West chapter of National Organization for Women (NOW) is pleased to announce that we are hosting a watch party for the Virginia state elections Tuesday, November 5th at Shanna Key at 6 PM. Since the Equal Rights Amendment is only one state away from being ratified, and Virginia democrats have promised to ratify the ERA if they win a majority in their House of Delegates next election, we are gathering to witness the potentially historic event.

We will provide free hors’ d’oeuvres, a cash bar, silent auction items, a Christmas raffle basket, and special limited edition Christmas ornaments for auction. All proceeds will go to the Connie Gilbert scholarship fund.
The Connie Gilbert scholarship fund supports women living in the Florida Keys who returning to college from work or continuing their college careers. Key West Now has awarded $6,000 in scholarships since starting the fund 2 years ago.
