Key West Artisan Market: Freewheelin’ Edition and Bike Show Edition is This Sunday

The Key West Artisan Market: Freewheelin’ Edition and Bike Show will be held Sunday, March 11 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Restaurant Store parking lot, 1111 Eaton St. Local artisans include culinary, textile, jewelry, wood, artists & crafters, curiosities, the Key West Writer’s Guild Author’s Nook, live music, beer, wine and food concessions. In addition, The City of Key West’s Sustainability Coordinator Alison Higgins, along with Wesley House and KWPD, will be onsite spreading the good word about bicycle safety, registering bikes, free helmet giveaways and more. Enter your unusual, custom or decorated bike in the Freewheelin’ Bike Show and convince guests to vote for their favorite with dollars. Proceeds will be split with Wesley House and the entry with the most votes.

Guests are encouraged to walk, ride bikes, use taxis or ride sharing services or take the bus which conveniently stops in front of the Restaurant Store. There will be plenty of bicycle parking and some ADA parking but there are no vehicle parking spaces at Strunk Ace Hardware or Manley deBoer Lumber Company; they will be open for normal business. Alternative parking is only 2 blocks away in the Old Town Garage at Grinnell and Caroline for $4/hour; free for 4 hours to residential sticker holders. Please BYOB (bring your own bags). No parking on White St at the Porter Place Apartments, please!
