Howard Livingston “Meet Me In The Keys” Annual Fundraiser for KOA Care Camp
9th Annual “Meet Me In The Keys” consisting of close to 300 registered attendees made up from Howard Livingston’s “Friend Club” members (called “Castaways” and including Mayor Craig Cates and wife Cheryl) and performers from all over the Country came to Key West for a week of fun AND fundraising for KOA Care Camps, a camp for kids with cancer. Total donations for the Event was $70,000!
Highlights (pictured) was a private concert from Howard Livingston and the MM24 Band at San Carlos Institute (where the 1st “rum-rita” made from the old Johnson outboard motor was auctioned off for over $30,000!) and the “Hangover Classic Charity Walk” (from Beachside Marriott all the way to Rum Row and back!) brought in another almost $10,000!
More info for the local “Home” Club www.southernmostcoconutcastaways.com, a fun and charity and volunteer based non-profit organization with the motto “Serving Community Roles With Caribbean Souls” (a great way to meet and make new friends!) and also find them on Facebook.
