FRINGE Announces Playwrights in Paradise Workshop

Back by Popular Demand!  Playwright Toby Armour returns to facilitate a 12-week playwrights workshop for Fringe Theater, beginning February 2017.  Enrollment is now open, and space is limited.

“We’ll explore dialogue, structure, character, and plot development,” explains Armour who has facilitated the workshop for the last three years.  “We’ll also do in-session writing exercises. And of course, we’ll help each other progress as writers.”

Each participant will write a 10-minute play. A public reading of the plays will be held in May 2, 2017 at the Parish Hall of St Paul’s Church.  Novice and experienced writers are encouraged to participate.

Toby Armor is a Jerome Fellow whose plays are based on oral history and stories of community. The enrollment fee is $150, with scholarships available.  Space is limited.  To enroll, contact Fringe Theater at [email protected] or call 305-731-0581.
