Florida Bay Forever Exhibit Comes to Islamorada
Keys History & Discovery Center Features Photographic Exhibit

Islamorada, FLFlorida Bay Forever: A Photographic Exhibit, is now on display at Keys History & Discovery Center in Islamorada, through Feb. 28, 2016. The exhibit explores the relationships linking the state’s bodies of water and examines the inextricable link of Lake Okeechobee, the Everglades, Florida Bay and the Florida Reef.

With more than 40 photographs and images, the exhibit offers a visually-stimulating experience as well as one which will educate and enlighten. It brings to life the coffee table book Florida Bay Forever: A story of water from the Everglades to the Keys, published to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Everglades Foundation. The exhibit also includes Everglades-related editorial cartoons from the private collection of conservationist Mary Barley. The exhibit is presented in part by the Everglades Foundation.

The Discovery Center is in Islamorada, MM 82, located on the property of the Islander Resort, a Guy Harvey Outpost. The Center is open Thursdays through Sundays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. General admission is $12. Admission for seniors is $10 and children 13-under are free.
