FKCC Invites Future Students to Open Houses

KEY WEST, FL, October 3, 2016— Florida Keys Community College invites prospective students and their families to any of three open house events at the following FKCC locations, dates, and times:

  • Middle Keys Center- Thursday, October 13 at 5:30 p.m.
  • Key West Campus- Saturday, October 15 at 10:00 a.m.
  • Upper Keys Center- Wednesday, October 19 at 5:30 p.m.

Prospective students will meet faculty, staff, and current students to explore academic and career training programs, including the College’s first bachelor’s degree.  The Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management will be launched in January 2017 pending the expected approval from the College’s accrediting agency, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, in December.  Additional information shared will include: financial aid and scholarship opportunities; learning support resources; and student clubs and activities.  Parents and family members will participate in a talk about guiding and supporting soon-to-be college students.  The regular $30 application fee will be waived for those who submit an application during one of the events.
