“Congressman Carlos Curbelo’s Constituents will still hold Citizens’ Town Hall to Make Their Voices Heard”

Several weeks of calls to hold a public town hall with Congressman Curbelo and his constituents has been unsuccessful. The Congressman was in Key West this morning holding several meetings but will have to head back to Washington, D.C. this evening.  The Florida Keys Indivisibles is happy to announce that Commissioner Heather Caruthers had volunteered to moderate the Town Hall and will still be in attendance. We want to hold the citizens’ town hall so that the constituents of District 26 can continue to have an open dialogue and to get their voices and concerns hear

What: Constituent Town Hall

Who: The Florida Keys Indivisibles

When: Monday, April 24, 6:00 p.m.

Where: Bayview Park, Truman Avenue

Why: A critical part of any member of Congress’ job is to hear from the constituents he represents face-to-face. Recent developments in healthcare and an update will be discussed.

The group invites all constituents of District 26 and the press to attend this local town hall tonight at Bayview Park at 6:00 p.m. They ask that you come prepared to tell us your stories about how the ACA has helped you and any questions you have for your Congressman. This will not be a protest or a rally of any kind. We must stand together, indivisible we all win.
