CFK closes Monday as Tropical Storm Eta approaches  

KEY WEST, FL, November 8, 2020— In preparation for possible impact from Tropical Storm Eta, The College of the Florida Keys (CFK) will close Monday, November 9. During this time, all classes are cancelled and offices at the Key West Campus and Middle Keys and Upper Keys centers will be closed to the public. Only Lagoon Landing residents and authorized College personnel, with proper ID, will be permitted on the Key West Campus. The College plans to re-open on Tuesday, November 10.           

College officials will continue to closely monitor Tropical Storm Eta. Announcements regarding the impact of the storm on the College, including closures and re-openings, will be sent to students and employees through the College’s Emergency Notification System (email and phone messages) and will be posted publicly on the College’s website at www.CFK.edu as well as its Facebook and Instagram pages.  

CFK encourages the College community to make preparations and to monitor email, voicemail, and local news and weather.
