A Positive Step of Monroe County Seeks Group Facilitator for Fatherhood Program

A Positive Step of Monroe County, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Monroe County’s highest risk kids and their families since 1999, is seeking an experienced bi-lingual Group Facilitator for its Fatherhood Program, which coaches fathers in developing new skills as parents and co-parents, and in anger management, health, and substance abuse awareness, among other topics. 

The successful candidate should have two years experience facilitating group sessions, teaching, or another related field, and will guide Fatherhood Program participants, via ZOOM meetings, through an evidence-based curriculum which will take place in two hour sessions, twice a week, over a twelve week period. The position pays $35 per hour, which will include session hours plus one hour of preparation time for each session; the successful candidate must pass a background screening. Program funding is provided by the Human Service Advisory Board of Monroe County (HSAB) and the Truist Foundation. Interested candidates can e-mail resumes to [email protected].
