She’s been called “a band in a body,” for good reason. Zoe Lewis, Provincetown powerhouse and maestro of jazz, jump jive, Latin grooves, and swing, returns to The Studios of Key West on Saturday, October 21 at 8pm, for a third encore performance. This time around, Lewis brings her dynamic energy and magnetism to The Studios’ stage to perform “Songs about Bridges, Not Walls,” a collection of fun folk songs, travel tales, vintage jazz and humor that’ll give you hope and keep you strong during trying times.

“I watched the news after Hurricane Irma and was so inspired by how everyone in the Keys pulled together to help out,” says Lewis. “Their stories filled me with hope and showed me yet again that the world is actually a good place and people do care. That’s why I’m even more excited than ever to come to the island to play again!”

Troubadour, vaudevillian, storyteller, adventurer, singer-songwriter, Lewis was winner of the Colorado Rocky Mountain Folks Festival Troubadour Award in 2003, New Folk Winner 2002 at the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas and 2001 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Audience Favorite. Lewis has performed all over the world with an array of incredible musicians, including tours with Judy Collins, Nanci Griffith, Pat Benetar and The Indigo Girls.

She’s traveled around the globe to more than 70 countries, picking up world-beat music and stories on the way; jumping box cars, riding on freight boats and has even played music with an elephant orchestra in Thailand.

With standout songs and an infectious laugh, Zoe Lewis will send your spirit soaring straight up to the stars. Tickets for the concert are $25/$20 and can be purchased at www.tskw.org or 305-296-0458.
