Yoga a Journey/ Personal Practice or Professional Credential Opportunities with Visiting Master Teacher at Shakti Yoga Starting this Weekend

By Sofia Artola

Enrich your health and lifestyle, advance your personal yoga practice, or deepen your professional teaching knowledge with Miami-based yoga master Ruslan Kleytman at Shakti Yoga on Friday, June 24 through Sunday, June 26 in a weekend workshop that explores the history of yoga and its main concepts, the spiritual practice of yoga, and physical practices with sequences in which to embody the lecture offerings.
The three-day workshop is the first in a monthly series of ten total workshops that embrace a fully holistic approach to yoga, allowing participants the opportunity to improve their personal practice and, if desired, gain the confidence, knowledge, and tools to become an effective teacher.
“Friday’s session will stimulate your thinking about yoga and will give answers to ‘Big Questions’,” says Kleytman, the founder of Akhila Yoga who has extensively traveled the globe studying with prominent masters and training hundreds of now-certified students. “It will clarify your spiritual goals and motivate your daily practice.”
On Saturday, Kleytman will guide students through subtle anatomy, cosmology, origins of universe, and “a blueprint to a happy life through understanding your makeup, purpose, and destiny.”  Sunday will introduce main concepts in physical practice, Ha and Tha, Drishti, alignment, inner and outer form, energetic loops, and micro and macro orbits, as well as 10 standing sequences (Kramas) designed by Kleytman that can be implemented in personal and teaching practices.
Each weekend is divided into five three-hour sessions beginning Friday night from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am-1:30pm and 3:00pm-6:00pm. Participants are welcome to attend all or any combination of the workshop; each session is $50. Students who successfully complete all ten sessions and pass the theory and teaching tests will receive their 300 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) credential as accredited by Yoga Alliance Registry Standards.  Cost for the total training is $2,500, with monthly payment options available and a $250 discount for those who pay in full by June 24.
“This is a great opportunity to study with a master teacher who has an incredibly vast amount of information and wisdom to offer,” says Shakti Yoga studio owner Sofia Artola. “It’s also quite rare to have this kind of access for a 300 hour teacher training— where the teacher comes to you over a period of time as opposed to having to travel to the instructor’s location and stay a month or longer.”
Yoga Alliance CEUs from each of the individual session are also available for current yoga teachers needing to meet or update registration requirements.  For a full list of training dates and other information, visit ShaktiKeyWest.com or call Sofia at 305.587.4285.
