Woman arrested after fleeing/crashing into marina  

A 30-year-old Stock Island, Florida woman was arrested Monday after fleeing and then crashing into a Stock Island marina, causing approximately $5,000 in damage. There were no serious injuries reported.

Corianne Lee De Poo Preater was charged with fleeing and eluding, and possession of the following: cocaine, methamphetamine, alprazolam, Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Preater fled in a Hyundai sport utility vehicle from an attempted traffic stop on Stock Island at approximately 12:45 p.m. Preater turned onto U.S. 1 and drove toward Key West, made a U-turn at the Triangle intersection and drove northbound reaching speeds of 90 mph. She then attempted to turn onto 2nd Street and crashed into Beach Weekend Marina. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.

Approximately three grams of cocaine, 2.5 grams of methamphetamine, and assorted loose pills without a prescription, as well as a small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe, were found.
