Vessel Fire at Robbie’s of Key West Marina on Stock Island (Dry Docked)

Last night, there was a vessel fire on Stock Island at Robbie’s of Key West Marina. No injuries are reported. The fire started at approximately 9:30 p.m. and was extinguished around 1:20 a.m. Two vessels were involved – one approx. 23-25 foot center console and a larger 40+ foot vessel were both heavily damaged. The fire was contained to the dry rack storage area (land based operation). Other boats were saved. MCFR Stations 8, 9, 10, and airport fire rescue responded including Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. The State Fire Marshal is en route to investigate.
