Appearing this thursday,June 23rd, at the Porch, from 8pm, is the TWO OF CUPS quartet, featuring the sultry, jazz stylings of vocalist Claire Caplan, the archtop guitar artistry of Ben Osborne, skippo, on drums, & Tim McCord on sax & flute. Drawing inspiration from the ‘grande dames’ of classic jazz vocalists, (Ella, Billie, Carmen, Sarah, Nina,  etc.),  they can also stray into the soul grooves of contemporary icons, like Amy Winehouse, James Brown, Al Green, Ruby & the Romantics, etc. Catch this new emerging musical force in town, this thurday & also, they will be the featured season closer, (*with the addition of  visiting trumpet virtuoso, Bill Perbetsky), at the Gardens Hotel on Sunday June 26th at 5:30pm.
