Two men arrested with Heroin

A traffic stop over the weekend resulted in the arrest of two men when the vehicle they were in was found to contain a substantial amount of heroin.

On February 22nd the Key West Police Department Special Investigations Unit and Homeland Security Investigations conducted a traffic stop on a 2019 Toyota Tacoma occupied by two white males: Chadwick A. Meister, 30, and Jason A. Tiller, 48.

A search of the vehicle revealed the occupants were trafficking in and transporting heroin. A total of 13.31 grams of heroin was found, along with drug paraphernalia including needles and spoons. Meister and Tiller were subsequently arrested and booked into the Monroe County Detention Center. Both face felony counts of trafficking and transporting heroin, as well as possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. In addition, Meister faces an additional charge of possession for the controlled substance naloxone.
