Truck Spotting

The City of Key West Fire Department is excitedly awaiting the delivery of two new Pierce vehicles: a fire engine and a ladder truck. Both trucks were built at the Appleton, Wisconsin factory and are being driven to Florida.

So far, people have spotted the trucks in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Indianapolis, Indiana. The photos have been shared on social media. The trucks are expected to pull into the state of Florida in the next two days.

With that in mind, we’re asking the public to keep an eye out for a Key West fire engine on the road and share photos. We love keeping track of their journey. If you spot our trucks on their way to the Keys, please send a picture and location it’s taken to [email protected].
