Trash Pickup Schedule for Thanksgiving

MONROE COUNTY, FL – Trash and recycling will not be picked up on Thanksgiving in some parts of unincorporated Monroe County. Here is the schedule:

LOWER KEYS: There will be no residential trash, recycling or yard waste pickup in the Lower Keys on Thanksgiving. Extra trash trucks will be in service the following Monday for the additional volume, and extra recycling trucks will run the following Thursday. No extra yard waste trucks will be run due to the low volume.

There also will be no commercial trash pickup in the Lower Keys on Thanksgiving. Those missed routes will be run the next day on Friday.

MIDDLE KEYS: In the Middle Keys portion of unincorporated Monroe County, there will be no trash or recycling pickup on Thanksgiving. Any trash normally scheduled for Thursday pickup will be collected Friday. Recycling pickup will resume the following Thursday.

KEY LARGO: In Key Largo, trash will be collected as usually scheduled on Thanksgiving
