Tooth Fairy Riders in Tutus Wanted For Bike Ride Fundraiser

The Rotary Club of Key West in partnership with Wesley House Family Services are proud to be holding the Second annual “Unity In The Community” Bike Ride Fundraiser on May 28th 2016 from 9:30am to 1pm at Bayview Park, followed by a “Best Costume Award Ceremony” after the ride. The “Unity Bike Ride” will help raise monies for both of these non-profits to support the Rotary Club Smile Maker dental fund in Key West and Wesley House dental care throughout Monroe County.

The ride is open to families, as well as individual riders, and will encompass a leisurely ride thru Old Town beginning and ending at Bayview Park.  The theme of the ride is Dental Hygiene, so participants to dress the part as their favorite Tooth Fairy, Toothbrush or box of Floss.  At the end of the ride bring awards and gift certificates will be awarded for the most creative costumes.  A bicycle painted by Rick Worth will be raffled for contributions.

Registration will be available both online at www.WesleyHouse.org and in person for a fee of $10 per rider. The first 200 online registrants a commemorative T-shirt.

Live music, children’s face painting and other fun activities will begin at 9:30 AM.  Food will be available for purchase at the Park beginning at 11:00 AM.  The ride will begin promptly at 11:30am with the Rotary Clubs mascot ‘Rotomolar” leading the procession.
