THE SOUTHEAST FLORIDA CLEAN CITIES COALITION INVITES YOU TO THE FIRST ELECTRONIC VEHICLE CAR SHOW
Hollywood, FL – The Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition (SEFLCCC) cordially invites you and all members of the press to attend our first ever Electric Vehicle (EV) Car Show this Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10:00 am – 1:00pm at Dania Pointe located at 139 South Compass Way, Dania Beach, FL 33004.
For more than 25 years the Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition has worked with Coalition partners, coalitions across the country, and the U.S. Department of Energy to further the nation’s energy independence and economic security. The Coalition leverages the expertise and investments of its members to build partnerships that advance affordable domestic transportation fuels, energy efficient mobility systems, and other fuel-saving technologies and practices.
The Clean Cities program began in Florida in 1993 with the creation of the Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition by Executive Order of the Governor and the subsequent designation by the U.S. Department of Energy. The Coalition is managed by the South Florida Regional Planning Council, a regional public agency whose mission is to work with South Florida’s public, private, non-profit, and civic leadership to create a sustainable future for the region.
The SEFLCCC provides many opportunities to participate and make a difference in Southeast Florida. The role of the Coalition is to provide a fuel-neutral policy direction to maximize the use of vehicles operating on clean, alternative fuels throughout the region of nearly six million people living in Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach counties.
Consider making choices that will reduce your dependence on petroleum fuels. If you are not prepared to purchase an alternative fuel vehicle, you can assist with public education, participate in special events, and learn about our idle reduction campaign. Lay the groundwork for a cleaner and more secure future.
The event is being hosted by the SEFLCCC in recognition of National Drive Electric Week. If you are curious about EV’s, we invite you to come get charged up at our FREE event! Speak with EV owners and vendors to learn about EVs, charging, sustainability, and more! For more information, please contact Alisha Lopez, SEFLCCC Coordinator at [email protected].
