The Number One Burlesque Performers in the World Come to Pride in Paradise!
“Hersband” and wife duo, Kitten and Lou will join the always entertaining, Key West Burlesque, for a very special pride week production! Awarded the coveted title, “The Number One Burlesque Performers in the World” (21st Century Burlesque), Kitten and Lou are the ‘fluorescent Fred and Ginger” who dance and lip sync their way around the world! Kitten LaRue, known for being “polished, clever and glamorous” (Dita Von Teese), has been at the forefront of the international burlesque community since 2001. Lou Henry Hoover is a “show boy extraordinaire” that has a multifaceted career. He has been seen gracing stages as a solo drag-king performer, is an award winning choreographer and was the first drag performer to compete for the title of King of Burlesque at the Burlesque Hall of Fame.
The “World’s Show-busiest Couple”, Kitten and Lou, will make their second Key West appearance at the Waterfront Playhouse June 10 and 11 in ” Prided in Paradise: A Drag-tastic Burlesque and Follies Revue”. This gleeful romp though the glittering world of Key West Pride week also features special drag and burlesque performances by local favorites Tatah DuJour, Kyle Jean and many more!
Pride in Paradise is a special two night event on June 10 and 11th at the Waterfront Playhouse. Doors open at 7:30PM and the show begins at 8PM. Tickets are available at waterfrontplayhouse.org.
