The Award winning Waterfront Playhouse has opened ticketing for all performances of their acclaimed Season 85!
Located on Mallory Square, the Waterfront will usher in the season with a revival of their sold out hit The Rocky Horror Show. Starring Christopher Peterson, Jillian Todd, Jack D’Emilio, Carolyn Cooper, Talitha Jones, Ray West, Riley Vogel, John Swann, Mathias Maloff and John McDonald performance dates are at 8pm October 18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27. Then “Look out, here comes Audrey II” when the award winning musical Little Shop of Horrors opens! Jordan Thomas Burnett, who starred in last seasons hit Escape to Margaritaville, stars as Seymore, with Talitha Jones as Audrey, Mathias Maloff as Mushnik, Mariah Woessner, Fritzie Estimond and Damaria Quick as the urchins, Bruce Moore will return to Key West in the role of the Dentist, Jack D’Emilio will play the derelict and Richard Quint will voice Audrey II with Zach Franchini as the plant manipulator. Production dates are 8pm November 29,30 December 1,2,5,6,7,8,9,12,13,14,15,16 and 2pm December 9. On January 4,5,6 the fabulous Joe Posa will return to the Waterfront in his one man show Joan Rivers!
Then rain gear will be available for the “rain zone” when the hit musical Singin’ In The Rain opens. Filled with every memorable moment from the film and a downpour of unforgettable songs, including ‘You are My Lucky Star’, ‘Fit as a Fiddle’, and ‘Make Em Laugh’, the “Greatest Movie Musical of All Time” will hit the the Waterfront stage and yes – it will rain! The cast includes: Jordan Thomas Burnett as Don Lockwood, Riley Vogel as Cosmo Brown, Jillian Todd as Kathy Selden, Talitha Jones as Lina Lamont, Kathy Russ as Dora Bailey, John McDonald as R.F.Simpson, Mathias Maloff as Rod, and Dominic Paolillo, Zach Franchini, Ray West, John Swann, Carolyn Cooper, Cassidy Timms, Mariah Woessner, Kelly Tucker and Barbara Mundy in the ensemble. Singin’ In The Rain plays at 8pm January 24,25,26,27,30,31 February 1,2,3,6,7,8,9,10,13,14,15,16,17 and 2pm February 3.
Ken Ludwig’s new adaptation of the Agatha Christie thriller, Murder on the Orient Express will preview on March 13. A snowdrift stops a luxurious train in its tracks… an American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, and the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer. David Black plays Hercule Poirot, Dominic Paolillo, Monsieur Bouc; Morgan Fraga Pierson, Mary; Ray West, Hector MacQueen, Karl Stahl, Michel; Barbara Mundy, Princess Dragomiroff; Jessica Miano Kruel, Greta Ohlsson, Cassidy Timms, Countess Andrenyl, Glenda Donovan as Helen Hubbard and Mathias Maloff as Colonel Arbuthnot/Ratchett. Murder on the Orient Express plays 8pm March 13,14,15,16,19,20,21,22,23,26,27,28,29,30 April 2,3,4,5,6 and at 2pm March 23.
A staged reading of Tennessee Williams’ Ten Blocks on the Camino Real will play for one performance 8pm March 17, the ever popular Trunk Material will play at 8pm March 31 .
Neil Simon’s Lost in Yonkers will complete the season. Playing at 8pm April 24,25,26,27,30 May 1,2,3,4,7,8,9,10,11 and at 2pm May 4 this Pulitzer prize winning comedy features Kathy Russ as Grandma Kurnitz, Carolyn Cooper as Bella, Mathias Maloff as Louie, and Jessica Miano Kruel as Gert.
