One of the Keys’ largest and most anticipated craft shows is right around the corner. The 35th Key West Craft Show takes place Saturday, January 25th and Sunday, January 26th from 10 am to 5pm each day. Over 70 local and national artists will line the streets at Whitehead and Caroline Streets. The Presidential Gates will be open to welcome guests to view the artists along the Truman Annex Entry.

Fine Craft Artists travel from as far as California, Oregon, Colorado, Michigan and along the East Coast to showcase their work. Many of the community’s favorites will be returning, along with a number of new and exciting artisans and craftsmen.

The broad selection of crafts keeps locals and visitors coming to this great show year after year. This year’s artisans offer a wonderful variety of work such as home décor in metal and wood.  You will enjoy artistic clothing and accessories from hats to handbags, ceramics and hand-turned wood kitchen items. You’ll find gorgeous jewelry in gold, silver, glass, metal and precious stones. Handcrafted furniture, toys, and metal sculpture are all offered at the show. From the light-hearted to the exquisite, you’ll find it all at the Key West Craft Show. New this year is “The Market” at the Key West Craft Show featuring local honey, body scrubs, handmade soaps, candles and more.

“In a world of convenience, we often forget to step back and truly appreciate handmade items. We invite you to come down and support these artists, support handmade and support small businesses,” said show director Grace Epperly.

Bring the whole family and stop by the Children’s Art Booth at Whitehead and Greene Streets to create an art piece for a $5 donation.

We recommend parking at the City of Key West garage on Grinnell & Caroline Streets or the parking lots along Caroline Street and hopping on the free Duval Loop. There will be a convenient drop-off at Eaton & Whitehead Streets to begin your tour of the show!

The Key West Art Center sponsors the show as an extension of its support of local arts and to help maintain their historic building at 301 Front Street. The Craft Show committee acknowledges the City Of Key West, and the Truman Annex for their assistance. For more info visit www.KeyWestArtCenter.com.
