Further investigation revealed a neighbor of the victim who said he’d been sleeping when his dog started barking. He said when he got up to check, he saw a young male walking out of his house. The suspect he saw was wearing a hooded shirt. The suspect was also wearing  a hooded shirt, but the neighbor said he could not be certain it was the same person he saw in in his house.

The suspect told Deputy Branco he was walking through the property to look at Tarpon in the canal. He was arrested. He was charged with loitering and prowling, possession of burglary tools – a flashlight – and trespassing in an occupied structure without consent of the owner.
