Stock Island’s Art District is excited to present a special Valentine’s edition for their 2nd Saturday, ART STROLL, February 12th, 11-5:00. This Saturday looks to be an incredible weather day, so grab your hat and your walkin’ shoes. We await you with fresh views to our version of Cannery Row.

Start your ART STROLL at Christie Fifer’s studio, 7025 Shrimp Road, unit 9E on the water. Christie, a full time painter in Key West, has opened her long awaited gallery and studio at the Perry Hotel. Come see her well loved book paintings, kooky sculptures and an eclectic array of antiques and old books. In the lobby of the beautiful and award -winning Perry Hotel, 7001 Shrimp Rd, is the Green Pineapple. Here you can enjoy, ZEN by Karen Moore, suffused with the powers of the earth’s elements. Karen’s, ZEN jewelry looks and feels beautiful. Each piece is cleansed with Reiki energy, giving you the opportunity to infuse each stone with your own personal intention. Wear it – one piece alone, or many pieces together – and find your natural balance. .
Then make your way to Stock Yard Studios, 5700 4th Av. Here you will find Pamela Kostmayer’s studio, she is a mixed media artist working in encaustic with the addition of paper, wood and metal objects and oil stick. Meander over to Sacred Space’s, gallery of 16 local female artists with three work spaces. Also in the Stock Yard compound is stone sculptor, Craig Berube-Gray and Conch Republic Body Essentials, specializing in in Artisan hand crafted luxury bath and body products. Truly the best on the island – it’s Skincare for the Island Life – take some home today!
From there, wind your way to Washed Up Key West at 6475 2nd St, a custom woodworking shop and Key West Island Art Gallery, featuring a collection of Debie Fritts’ art, small replica conch houses made from recycled wood  and hand painted framed island art. .
Finish (or start) your journey at Collections, Key West, Gallery, 6810 Front St, park at the Hog Fish and stroll 120 paces down the dock till you get to the red doors. Upstairs you will find Steve Bickis’, impressionism to realism, street scenes and boatyards, his newest being the laundromat at Eaton & Elizabeth. A Key West sign painter of old, now turned fine artist, Steve paints Key West from the eye of a technician and the heart of light, texture and shadow.  Cuban art takes over the mezzanine with crisp bold images of beauty and hope, landscapes and fantasia. Downstairs and situated in a yacht club of old is Lost Kitchen Supper Club, a reinvented style of dining providing an opportunity for you to share an evening at their table with friends old and new. Lost Kitchen is a ticketed event space with private bookings optional. You can also join Lost Kitchen and Collections Gallery this Sunday for their Mimosa and Bloody Mary Drag Brunch, check the art, sip a drink and enjoy the songs of a Drag Queen Diva worth savoring! Tickets are sold out but the bar is OPEN 11-2, gallery is open till 6.
