Star of the Sea Outreach Mission Receives CFFK Grant
Star of the Sea Outreach Mission was awarded $10,000 by the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys through its 2017 Grant Program.
The grant will support “Increasing Access to Healthy Meals for Children in Monroe County.” The grant will provide funds to underwrite nutritious meals for 200 to 300 children throughout the Keys to ensure all Monroe County children have access to healthy food.
The Grant Program is funded through generous donations made to the Future Fund at CFFK, which supports grants to local nonprofits throughout the Keys.
