Speaker Series at Key West Tropical Forest – Addressing Challenges of Key Marine Ecosystem

KEY WEST, Florida Keys – The Key West Botanical Garden Society presents Sarah Fangman, Superintendent, Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary to begin its 6-month Speaker Series on Saturday. December 21, 2019 at 1:30pm in the Toppino Nature Chapel.  Her topic will be “Restoration Blueprint:  Proposals to Address the Challenges of the Florida Keys Marine Ecosystem.”  Sarah is responsible for leadership, vision and strategic direction with 19 years of experience working for the National Marine Sanctuary.  She has completed over 600 scuba dives in the FL Keys, has obtained a 100 ton Masters Captain License and became a certified submersible pilot.  Sarah holds a Master’s Degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Washington.
