SoDu Gallery Presents The Work Of Janis Childs And Lainie Davia For First Friday Upper Duval Art Stroll, Feb. 5,6-9pm
First Friday Upper Duval Stroll, an art gallery and café walk, will take place on Fri., February 5, 2016 from 6-9pm in the Key West Upper Duval Art’s District.

This month SoDu Gallery, 1102B Duval St., will be featuring the work of gallery partners Janis Childs and Lainie Davia. Both gals have been working and living in the Keys since the 1970’s and are founding partners of the gallery. Lainie Davia has been a jeweler since she was fourteen years old. She designs a wide variety of styles of jewelry using gold, silver and precious gems. In addition to reworking old jewelry for her customers, Lainie specializes in mounting shipwreck coins into pendants, earrings, and rings. Come in and buy your sweetie a piece of jewelry for Valentine’s Day!

Janis Childs paints on multiple surfaces, including wooden bowls, linens, ceramic, furniture, and lamp shades. Her designs are colorful and glowing, with accents of gold and silver. Janis’ work has made its way into homes across the country and abroad. Come in on Friday evening and see her latest designs.

SoDu Gallery at 1102B Duval will be selling the latest Key West Women’s Club Restaurant card for $100, cash or check only. This card is good for discounts at local restaurants until June of 2016.
