Sheriff’s Office donates car to College of the Florida Keys

On Thursday, Sheriff Rick Ramsay donated a Dodge Charger patrol car to the College of the Florida Keys for use in law enforcement instruction at the school’s Institute for Public Safety.

The Sheriff’s Office and the College of the Florida Keys share a strong partnership as many law enforcement officers in Monroe County are graduates of the school’s law enforcement program.

“I’m happy to help the college in any way,” said Sheriff Rick Ramsay “I’m even happier to donate something like this patrol car, which I know will be used to better train our future law enforcement officers.”
