Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Corrections Major honored as accreditation assessor of the year

 

The Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission honored Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Corrections Major Tim Age as its Assessor of the Year at their

Maj. Age led assessment teams that inspected jails and detention centers around the state of Florida to ensure they are in compliance with state standards.

 

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office currently holds a total of five professional accreditation certifications, including both national and Florida state law enforcement accreditation; national and Florida corrections accreditations and accreditation from the National Commission on Correctional Health Care.
