Rotary Club of Key West to Hold Independence Day Events
The Rotary Club of Key West continues its tradition of celebrating Independence Day with multiple activities for the community on the Fourth of July. The holiday begins with a morning 5K Run/Walk at the Edward Knight Pier and ends with two evening events that showcase the Rotary Club of Key West’s forty-third annual fireworks display at the Edward Knight Pier, presented in partnership with the City of Key West. All proceeds from the activities benefit the club’s scholarship fund.
Rotary Club of Key West’s Fourth of July 5K
Get a healthy start to the holiday with the Rotary Club of Key West’s Fourth of July 5K Run/Walk. Supported by Southernmost Runners, the race starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Edward Knight Pier and ends at the same location. The entry fee is $25 until Wednesday, July 3 at 4 p.m.; the cost increases to $30 after. Runners and walkers can register online or in person on Wednesday, July 3, from 4 to 6 p.m. or Thursday, July 4, from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Stars, stripes, and patriotic flare are encouraged. Rotary Club of Key West’s VIP Fireworks Party at the Casa Marina Resort
Celebrate the Fourth of July in style at the VIP Fireworks Party at the Casa Marina Resort, benefitting the Rotary Club of Key West’s scholarship fund. The event begins at 6 p.m. and features an upscale buffet, three hours of an open, private bar and music. Guests will enjoy reserved beach seating for the fireworks show. Tickets are $250. Rotary Club of Key West’s Patriotic Party at the Pier
The Rotary Club of Key West invites all community members and island visitors to the Patriotic Party at the Pier from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Edward Knight Pier. Bring the whole family to enjoy food, music, and a close-up view of the fireworks. Pulled pork sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, beer, and other refreshments will be on sale. No admission fee.
Rotary Club of Key West’s 43rd Annual Fireworks Show
Since 1976, the Rotary Club of Key West has proudly presented Key West’s Fourth of July Fireworks Show. This year’s show, staged in partnership with the City of Key West, will begin at 9 p.m. at Edward Knight Pier.
