Reflections of Key West & Florida Past, Enrique delValle, Vintage Souvenirs & Signs
Collections, Key West Gallery is hosting a show to highlight our bright and colorful history. Enrique delValle paints the Comparsa Dancers of the ’60’s, the original Cuban Club and South Roosevelt. Enrique ‘Henry’ was a sign painter back in the day, he created the original 5 Brothers logo, painted 100s of signs for Historic Tours of America and partnered with Danny Acosta on the Southernmost Buoy. Two of his hand lettered signs will be represented at this showing April 8th – the 17th. Along with Enrique’s work are vintage souvenirs of Florida and old Key West and the signs of Key West Sign Co & Key West Woodworks. As season winds down, so too slow the shows. See also our collections of cashmere and jewelry, ceramic and glass and FISH – carved, mosaic, wood and glass.
