Pelican Adventurers Get to Know Moolah

Students from Poinciana Elementary’s Pelican Adventures toured the main branch of First State Bank of the Florida Keys as part of their summer recreation program.

Lead by Branch Manager Mark Batzel and Customer Service Representative Mia Castillo, the Adventurers learned about different types of currency, how to use the coin counting machine, and the various departments that make up the Bank.

The Bank’s mascot, Moolah the Manatee, made a surprise appearance much to the delight of the Adventurers.
