ISLAMORADA, FL – Florida Keys History & Discovery Center’s signature event, A Havana Night at the Museum is on Saturday, Nov. 13, and anyone can participate with the online auction and 50/50 raffle!

Online auction opens Monday, Nov. 8, with a great variety of items, including restaurant certificates, an in-home wine tasting, boat wrap with artwork by Pasta, home décor items, relaxing experiences, numerous hotel stays, and more. Place your bids through Saturday, Nov. 13, 8:15 p.m., when the auction closes. Easy to register at KeysDiscovery.com/signature-event.

Purchase chances to win the 50/50 raffle also online, $20 for one ticket, $50 for three tickets, $100 for six tickets and $170 for 10 tickets. The winner will be announced at the end of the event and does not need to be present to win. Tickets also available at KeysDiscovery.com/signature-event.

The signature fundraising event benefits the Florida Keys History and Discovery Foundation, which operates the Keys History & Discovery Center. Proceeds from the event will help support the operation of the museum including our most popular program, the Keys History & Discovery Presents lecture series.

About Keys History & Discovery Center:

Keys History & Discovery Center is a world-class museum that preserves and shares the incredible history of our Upper Keys community and explores the unique ecology of the region. In addition to permanent exhibits on subjects such as Henry Flagler’s Over-Sea Railway, Legends of the Line, First People, Indian Key circa 1840, Keys flats fishery, and Coral Reef Exploration, the Discovery Center offers a lecture series, educating the public through presentations from a variety of expert speakers. The museum’s second floor features a state-of-the-art theater showing documentaries on topics like the 1935 Labor Day Hurricane and the building of Flagler’s Railway, as well as traveling exhibits, and the Jerry Wilkinson Research Library. The center, on the property of the Islander Resort, is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
