The real problem is: it’s not about money but the irreparable damage to a vital part of the Eco-system. The Gulf has been so negatively impacted by the initial spill and the subsequent attempts designed to mask the long term effects. The fossil fuel, and the dispersants, cover the floor of the Gulf of Mexico, preventing the growth of life. Money is transient, once it has been spent, there will continue to be little or no seafood worthy of harvesting.
