Oct. 31st Deadline for Hurricane Irma Recovery Assistance from CFFK
Applications from Keys nonprofits seeking assistance from the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys for Hurricane Irma recovery efforts are due by October 31st at 5:00 p.m.
Grants from the Florida Keys Emergency Relief Fund at CFFK are supporting critical needs including food, clothing, shelter and household needs, medical supplies, and more. Applications are available at cffk.org.
The Community Foundation has begun distributing grants to nonprofits and faith-based organizations to meet urgent needs of individuals throughout the Keys.
Four community Advisory Committees representing areas of the Keys (Key West, Lower, Middle and Upper Keys) have been formed to review all applications received by Oct. 31st and determine how to best meet the local area’s needs. Grant awards will be made by Nov. 15th  following review by the Advisory Committee and CFFK’s Grants Committee.
Contributions to the Florida Keys Emergency Relief Fund are needed to meet the huge demand for assistance in the Keys. CFFK is distributing 100% of  funds raised. Donations may be made at cffk.org or by calling 305-292-1502.
