New Parameters on Zika Testing for Pregnant Women

The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County recently amended its parameters regarding elective Zika testing for pregnant women.  Pregnant women who elect to receive testing who are not exhibiting symptoms and have health insurance are advised to contact their primary care doctor.   Pregnant women who do not have health insurance can still receive testing by calling the department Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to schedule an appointment.  No walk-ins, please.
