Nautical Flea Market in Islamorada to impact traffic

Motorists on U.S. 1 should give themselves extra time to get through Islamorada this weekend as the Nautical Flea Market at Founders Park will impact traffic on U.S. 1.

The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26.

Normally heavy weekend traffic is expected to be even heavier, particularly near Mile Marker 86 and the park.

Deputies will be assisting with the flow of traffic, but motorists should be prepared for delays.
