Native Plant Sale at the Key West Tropical Forest 

KEY WEST, Florida Keys – The plant Nursery at the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden will be holding its monthly native plant sale from 9am to noon Saturday, February 19, 2022.  A Master Gardener Help Desk will also be on site to help answer any plant questions.

There are 165 species of native plants available including Cuban palms plus Tomato and Pepper plants, with an inventory totaling more than 2,000 plants attracting birds, butterflies and pollinators in 1-gallon to 10-gallon pots.  Key West Botanical Garden members receive a 15% discount.  The Garden is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation and all proceeds directly benefit the Garden’s conservation program.

Following the plant sale, at 1:00 pm, the Garden’s Speaker Series will start with Dr. Cori Convertito, Curator at the Key West Art & Historical Society speaking on “Key West at the 200 Year Mark” in the Toppino Nature Chapel.  The Garden is located at 5210 College Road on Stock Island.  For more information call 305-296-1504 or visit www.keywest.garden.
