Mote hosts Welcome Party for the Underwater Music Festival on July 9th

Mote Marine Laboratory is proud to host the Welcome Party for the 37th Annual Underwater Music Festival on Friday, July 9th from 6-8 p.m.  This Welcome Party, located at Mote’s Summerland Key facility, (MM24; 24244 Overseas Hwy) is free and open to the public.  Learn about Mote’s coral reef research and restoration efforts happening on Florida’s Coral Reef while enjoying live music, lite fare and family-friendly activities at Mote’s Summerland Key facility. During the festival’s Welcome Party, you’ll also see some of the incredible artistic underwater musical instruments created by local artist August Powers while enjoying beer from Florida Keys Brewing Company.  For more information about the Welcome Party, contact Mote at 305.745.2729 x 700.
