Montessori United 5K Race and Kids Fun Run – December 3, 2023

Key West, FL – May Sands Montessori School and the Montessori Children’s School are thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated 3rd Annual Montessori United 5K & Kids Fun Run on Sunday December 3, 2023. This exciting event aims to support and celebrate these two exceptional Montessori schools in Key West.

The Montessori United 5K & Kids Fun Run is not just your average race; it’s an opportunity to come together as a community and champion the value of education. May Sands Montessori School, a public and tuition-free institution, and the Children’s Montessori School, a private institution, collaborate to create an inclusive and enriching learning environment for all children in Key West.

Participants can register to run, walk or stroll in the 5K race at the cost of $35, while the Kids Fun Run registration fee is $20. This year, we are excited to introduce VIP Seating Course Side at the finish line for only $30. One of the highlights of this event is the inclusion of dedicated ½ mile and 1 mile Kids Fun Runs. This family-friendly event allows children to participate in a race tailored specifically to their age group, fostering a love for physical activity and healthy competition from an early age. It’s a fantastic opportunity for children to experience the joy of running and celebrate their accomplishments alongside their supportive families.

Taking place at the picturesque Truman Waterfront Park, this year’s race course promises to be a memorable and scenic route for all participants. It’s worth noting that the park will also be hosting Ocean Fest by Mote Marine Laboratory later in the day, making it a day full of excitement and educational experiences for the entire family. As an added bonus, all adult race entrants will receive a complimentary beer ticket for Ocean Day, offering an opportunity to unwind and enjoy the festivities after the race.
