Monroe County Library Key West Branch Hosts Popup Event for Bayshore Manor Residents

KEY WEST, FL – The residents of Bayshore Manor, an assisted living facility for elderly Monroe County residents, were treated to an afternoon library popup event hosted by Monroe County Library’s Key West branch on Tuesday.

Library staff assisted the residents with signing up for library cards and brought the latest DVDs, fiction and non-fiction books, and audiobooks for the resident’s enjoyment.

“Allison Rich and I had the opportunity to share the wealth of library resources with the residents of Bayshore Manor this afternoon,” said Rob Rinaldi, Senior Librarian. “It was the library’s pleasure to work with Bayshore on this outreach.”

The library staff and Bayshore Manor residents saw a great success on this first visit, and plan on continuing the partnership.
