Marathon couple arrested on cocaine charges

A Marathon couple accused of selling cocaine was arrested Thursday.

Harold Glenn Reese, 31, was charged with cocaine sales, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal use of two-way communications device to facilitate drug sales.

Priscilla Franco, 29, was charged with cocaine sales and illegal use of two-way communications device to facilitate drug sales.

Both are arrested as part of an investigation that started in January and included the use of undercover operatives. On Jan. 4, an operative called Reese to set up a cocaine buy. Reese gave the phone to his girlfriend, Franco, who then facilitated the transaction buy setting up the time and place. The buy occurred in a Walgreens bathroom in Marathon whereupon the operative bought $100 worth of cocaine or about a gram.

Detectives viewed video of the buy and identified Franco as the person who entered the bathroom.

Warrants were obtained for both Reese and Franco.

They were booked into the Monroe County Detention Center on Stock Island.
