Man arrested on drug charges at Key West air show

A 50-year-old Steamboat Springs, Colorado man was arrested on drug charges after he was caught smoking marijuana laced with Fentanyl at the Key West air show.

U.S. Navy personnel notified the Sheriff’s Office at approximately 1 p.m. Saturday that a suspect — later identified by responding Deputies as Delmar Robert Grant — was smoking drugs on Naval Air Station Key West property. Grant admitted smoking marijuana. The marijuana was found to be laced with Fentanyl. More marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in his vehicle which was parked on naval property.


Man arrested for causing disturbance at Post Office

A 42-year-old Tavernier man was arrested Monday after threatening a U.S. Post Office clerk. There were no reported injuries.

Alan Cory Bussard was charged with disorderly conduct. The Sheriff’s Office was called to the U.S. Post Office in Key Largo at approximately 8:45 a.m. after a suspect — later identified as Bussard — threatened a clerk over a disagreement about his mail. Bussard was found nearby shortly thereafter after causing similar disturbances at two other locations.
