Man arrested for sex crimes

A 20-year-old Miami man was arrested Tuesday for providing alcohol to minors and having sex with a 16-year-old girl.

Norman De La Cruz was charged with multiple counts of sexual assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The incident occurred last year at a residence on Big Pine Key.

The victim stated De La Cruz provided alcohol to her and other minors at the residence.

De La Cruz had sex with the impaired victim without her consent.

Warrants were issued for De La Cruz’s arrest.

De La Cruz turned himself in on Tuesday.
