Man arrested following investigation involving juvenile  

Evon Spencer Simpson, 24, of West Palm Beach, Florida, was arrested Thursday for lewd and lascivious behavior. 

The case began on March 31, 2023, when Deputies encountered a black Mercedes in a Key Largo parking lot at approximately 2 a.m. Simpson was inside, partially clothed, with a 14-year-old female. The ensuing investigation showed text messages of a sexual nature between the Simpson and the minor. 

A warrant was obtained for Simpson’s arrest and he was booked into jail on Thursday.
